Here is a great list of venues in the Blue Mountain – Collingwood to Muskoka areas that we are excited about and you might not have heard of. Some are small & intimate and others can accommodate large weddings, as we know every wedding is different. Most of these venues are summer/fall season from May until October. Some, I am sure would be available for off season elopements and intimate weddings.
Aisling Lake House
Located 10 mins outside of Parry Sound and situated on a hill overlooking a small, private lake the Lake House has a rustic and comfortable feel. Aisling has just the right mix of modern touches to make your wedding day perfect while hosting up to 75 guests. They also have a 1000 square foot deck that’s perfect for your reception all while enjoying the views of the lake. Ivy Ridge Barn- Weddings & Events
Located just 5 mins south of Barrie in the hamlet of Ivy. This 100 year old barn has just been totally refurbished and relocated to this beautiful country setting. With a covered yet open ceremony space, a real working water wheel and lots of outdoor space for guests as well as a loft, it’s truly a stunning spot to consider.

Georgian Hills Winery
Located just 20 minutes from Collingwood and down the road from the village of Thornbury, the Georgian Hills winery offers something more typically associated with Niagara on the lake. With over 12 acres of gorgeous vineyards, Georgian Hills Vineyards boasts a large variety of stunning natural backdrops for your event. Sequel Inn & Barn Venue
Located about 45 min from Barrie just outside of the village of Creemore, Sequel Inn is a unique and stylish estate with a stunning landscape situated on over 50 acres. “Our 175-year-old barn is the perfect setting for you to enjoy your farm fresh intimate event”. Sequel Inn is known for weddings that make the day feel very intimate. There is lots of space to roam but you will never feel very far away from the action. The barn can be used for the ceremony or reception, twinkle lights and bonfires at night another make for another beautiful spot to consider!

Coffin Ridge Winery
Located about 20 minutes outside of Owen Sound. Coffin Ridge Vineyard and Winery is located along the beautiful and rugged northern end of the Niagara Escarpment. It boasts a stunning view of Georgian Bay and the islands off of Colpoy’s Bay. With views for days who wouldn’t want their wedding here.

Northridge Inn
Located an hour north of Huntsville in Sundridge, this beautiful spot for a wedding sits right on the shore of Lake Bernard. The Inn has been fully redone in the last few years and has a very rustic modern feel. Ceremonies can be held inside or outside on the waters edge. NorthBrook Farm
Located just outside Orillia. Northbrook Farm is a 10 acre property with our century farmhouse set in perennial gardens and surrounded by mature trees. A little bit of a different setting then all the others. This venues reminds me very much of beautiful gardens and buildings in Europe. Reception space is tented with a concrete floor, perfectly paired with wooden table and chairs.
